Ms. Diya Kapur

We contacted Ms. Diya & The Mind Research Foundation via a search on the Practo app for "Grief Counseling". We expected that there would be many people in pursuit of support to manage various emotions due to the many losses since the COVID started in 2020, but we did not expect that we ourselves would experience such huge effects of the deaths of our elder generation over the course of the past twenty-four months or so.

Ms. Diya provided an open-ended approach so that all of the feelings, beliefs and ongoing thoughts through the grief process could be fully explored. Also, Ms. Diya provided tangible techniques that could be utilized on a daily basis to manage the emotional effects of the grieving process. Moreover, Ms. Diya understood that expression of grief was the greatest need and it was wonderful to be in a closed environment during office hours to express those feelings without any fear that such expression would have any negative consequence. Ms. Diya ensured that privacy was guaranteed in every visit and this privacy reinforced the positive consequences that we needed to continue to grow.

We look forward to visiting Ms. Diya again very soon. Since the work/office schedules have resumed, it has been difficult to coordinate an appropriate timing, but certainly, we appreciate very much the counseling opportunity that Ms. Diya afforded us. Had it not been for her gifting of coping strategies and willingness to allow an open-ended expression of grief during office hours, perhaps we would not be ready and able to return to office now.

We appreciate very much the professionalism and supportive sincerity given to us by Ms. Diya and we look forward to visiting her again once schedules permit. Thanks very much to Ms. Diya and The Mind Research Foundation for helping us through our COVID grief. You have given to us a helping hand during a critical time of emotional need.

Ms Diya Kapur is my psychologist and I am having really impactful sessions with her every week. She have helped me with my anxiety issues, self esteem issues via many different methods like CBT. She have helped me in realizing repetitive patterns that I follow which leads to affecting my mental health negatively and also have helped me in working on them. Previously too I have taken counseling session but with Diya ma'am I feel my growth trajectory is more faster. I will highly recommend Diya ma'am!

She told she will share her finding or observations via email but she did not do that either. No value received by consulting her. Doctor should be there to help us.. Also they are not sharing any prescription ** * ** *** **** ** *** *** * ********* ************ ** ****

Diya Kapur, was an excellent therapist and made me feel heard. We were able to delve into several issues I had and talk about my day to day life. She used to provide me material to read after our sessions which gave me better insight. Overall our sessions have helped me grow as a person.

A very friendly and passive approach dealing with structuring the mental core . Providing materials for exercises helped relieve me of chronic anxiety and stress.

Over the course of 5 weeks and a lot of introspection led to some really good progress. Would recommend 10/10

She has a thought process that comes down to slowly breaking your ideas and helping you figure routes in and around the areas that you are struggling with. The conversations are great and very specific to the problems.

This was my first Therapy session and I am glad I took it. Dr. Diya has been kind, looking forward to the next 4 sessions.

She was attentive and she heard my problems very carefully, I felt good after our talk I'm hoping things progress this way.

An absolute gem of a person. Calm & compassionate. Helped me get rid of anxiety. She is very understanding and modifies the approach accordingly. Definitely recommended 100%.
